ATN is the oldest national organization for parents and caregivers of children suffering from trauma and the resultant disorders of PTSD, Reactive Attachment Disorder and attachment difficulties.  We provide support, education, and advocacy for families of traumatized children.

 ATN provides both individual and professional memberships as follows: 

Individual Membership (includes parents, grandparents, teachers, caregivers, social workers and others interested in the welfare of our children)  is only $35 annually and you receive:

• a year's subscription to the bi-monthly Hoofbeats newsletter

• one free online educational seminar & reduced tuition on all others.

• access to on-line directory, lending library, past issues of newsletter and other member-only benefits.

• Free online classroom chats.

• Access to ATN’s online support communities.

• Discounts on ATN-sponsored events.

Need a Scholarship?

ATN offers scholarships for those experiencing financial hardships.  These scholarships are funded by other members and donors.  The number of scholarships is very limited and dependent on the donations received.   Please click here to complete our online scholarship application.  If you wish to donate to our scholarship fund, please contact our Administrative Director, Lorraine Schneider, at 240-357-7369.

Professional Membership – Sole Practitioner is for individual therapists or other professionals in solo private practice. Membership is $125 annually and includes:

• a year’s subscription to the bi-monthly Hoofbeats newsletter
• Designation on ATN website as Pro Member
• Listing in Hoofbeats newsletter directory for six issues
• 5 conference recordings – either as MP3 downloads or CDs (or $50 off any complete conference set).
• Access to online professionals’ discussion group
• Access to “members only” archives
• Discounts on ATN events

Professional Practice Memberships are for organizations with two or more therapists or professionals. Memberships are $250 annually and include:

• a year’s subscription to the by-monthly Hoofbeats newsletter
• Designation on ATN website as Pro Member
• Listing in Hoofbeats newsletter directory for six issues
• 12 conference recordings – either as MP3 downloads or CDs (or $100 off any complete conference set).
• Access to online professionals’ list for Primary Member
• Access to “members only” archives for Primary Member
• Discounts on ATN events for Primary Member
• Associate Memberships can be purchased for other professionals in your practice for $20 annually.

Associate Memberships are available to additional professionals who are members of an organization with an active Professional Practice Membership. Associate Memberships include:
• Six issues of Hoofbeats newsletter
• Access to online professionals’ list
• Access to “members only” archives
• Discount on ATN events
